Valletta 1566 – commemorating Valletta’s 450th anniversary
Heritage Malta along with the Malta Libraries is holding a major exhibition giving a glimpse into the four hundred and fifty year history of Valletta, from initial conception, laying of the foundations and its construction. The exhibition also explores the history and culture of the city, which has become the capital of Malta, the smallest capital in the European Union, and business and administrative hub.
The exhibition is split into two parts which are complimentary, one in the National Library of Malta and the other at the former National War Museum in Fort St Elmo.
Fort St Elmo : 0900 – 1700. Last admission at 1630.
